About
The book we wished was around when we were 17.
Most early personal finance content stops at definitions and never gets to the math. The math is the whole point. Young Wise and Wealthy is the version that goes deeper, written for people who already know what a stock is.

Mission
Equip young people with the financial literacy they need to make confident decisions about money, without a paywall and without the influencer noise.
Who this is for
- → High school students wondering why a 401(k) match is “free money”.
- → College students trying to figure out which student loan interest gets capitalized.
- → New grads opening a first brokerage and not sure what to put in it.
- → People in their 20s looking for the next book after the intro one.
- → Anyone tired of personal finance content that treats them like they have never seen a credit card.
Values
We show the actual numbers
We name actual numbers, actual rates, actual brackets. If we cannot show the math, we do not make the claim.
We do the math
Motivation fades by Monday. A worked example still works a year later, so we lead with the calculation.
We think in decades
Most of what works in personal finance has worked for 80 years. We do not chase what might work for the next 18 months.
Free, and it stays free
No affiliate steering, no ads, no premium tier. The point is getting the content to the people who need it.
A note on advice
Everything here is educational. We are not your financial advisor. Run your own numbers, talk to a licensed professional when a decision is large or your situation is unusual, and treat this site as a starting point for your own research.
